Our Journey

Lets take a look at the journey of our cluster project and how we have evolved over the years.

  • 2019

    The team-initiated Idea screening, development & optimization and the idea was presented to QNRF & eventual shortlisting.
  • 2020
    placeholder 6.4M$
    The cluster grant was awarded by amount of 6.4 M$ to initiate research activities in one of the biggest research projects in Qatar involved five sub projects to end up with Direct air capture through HVAC system and CO2 conversion.
  • 2021
    placeholder Project Launched
    Project officially launched in January 2021.
  • 2022
    placeholder Equipment Fabrication and Validation
    Fabrication and commissioning of in-house lab scale DAC unit, allowing for material screening and reduction of indoor CO2 levels.
  • 2023
    placeholder Lab & Testing
    Completing the lab set-up for CO2 conversion, testing and analysis.
  • 2024
    placeholder DAC Prototype
    Our first DAC/HVAC Demo prototype was released for real testing.
  • 2027
    placeholder Fully Operational Unit
    Implement our first fully operational unit.
